Phnom Penh Capital Administration Reminds Workers to Get Covid-19 Vaccine Booster Dose

PHNOM PENH: The Phnom Penh Capital Administration has issued an announcement saying that according to the implementation of the high recommendation of Prime Minister Hun Sen, the administration of Covid-19 vaccines has been a key strategic measure to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and serious illness, in particular to ensure herd immunity and enter into the ‘new normal’ way of life.

With the high approval of the Minister of National Defense, DPM Tea Banh, the Sub-Committee on Covid-19 Vaccination within Phnom Penh will cooperate with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) medical team to continue administering booster doses (third and fourth doses) to workers, traders, informal economy group members and all citizens in Phnom Penh. Doctors of the RCAF of the Ministry of National Defense will be responsible for providing vaccines in nine Districts: Sen Sok, Russey Keo, Prek Pnov, Toul Kork, Kampol, Dangkor, Por Senchey, Meanchey and Chbar Ampov.

Workers, traders, informal economy groups and all citizens can continue to get their Covid-19 vaccines from doctors of the Department of Health of the Phnom Penh Capital Administration, with referral from hospitals and health centers near homes and offices in the 14 districts.

As mentioned above, all workers, business people, informal economy group members and citizens of Phnom Penh are kindly requested go and get their booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (third dose and fourth dose) for free, with a high sense of responsibility and cooperation.
